"DSG" and "S tronic" (Audi's name for the same family of dual-clutch transmissions) cover multiple designs with different clutch types, fluids, filters, circuits and service schedules. Fluid is a technical specification here, not just a quantity, and on some variants correct level-setting procedure is critical to getting it right. We don't replace DSG clutches or rebuild mechatronic units; that internal work is outside our advertised scope.

How often should DSG oil be changed?
It depends on the variant and vehicle. There's no single interval that applies to every DSG.

It can't be guaranteed. Judder may involve clutch, control or other faults that a service alone won't resolve.
What does S tronic mean?
S tronic is Audi's name used for several of its dual-clutch transmissions, the same underlying principle as DSG on other VW Group models.
