Collection is arranged alongside an agreed repair, service or diagnostic, not offered on its own.

Registration, collection postcode, requested job, vehicle condition, preferred date and whether return delivery is needed.

Charge agreed in advance
Cost depends on location, distance, timing and whether one-way or return transport is required.

Return after completion
Timing depends on the repair. We'll keep you updated if anything changes the schedule.
Collection is not recovery. The vehicle must be taxed, insured and roadworthy. It's not suitable if there's no drive, brake or steering defects, overheating, rapid coolant loss, or anything that makes road use unsafe. Those need a separately arranged recovery service instead.

What collection doesn't replace
Collection doesn't replace diagnosis or authorisation. If we find additional work once the car is with us, we contact you, explain the finding, and agree the revised cost or next step before continuing. It's intended to support a genuine Autovolve workshop booking, not as transport on its own.

Is collection free?
No, it's a paid service. The charge depends on location, distance, timing and whether return delivery is required.
What's your service area?
Derby and nearby locations are the main service area. Longer-distance requests are considered case by case.
Can you collect a car that won't start?
Not as normal collection. A non-running vehicle needs separately arranged and priced recovery instead.
My brakes or steering feel dangerous, can you still collect it?
No one should drive an unsafe vehicle. Tell us the condition and we'll arrange suitable recovery instead.
Can I book collection without a repair?
The service is intended to support an Autovolve workshop booking, not as standalone transport.
Can you collect while I'm at work?
Potentially, if access, keys, authorisation and timing are agreed in advance.
