Inspect and expose
The reported area and surrounding structure assessed, with trim or coatings removed as needed.

Cut out weak material
Deteriorated metal removed back to a sound repair boundary, checking hidden sections too.

Form, weld and finish
Repair sections shaped, aligned, welded and dressed to the agreed scope.

Protection applied
Primer, seam sealer, stone-chip or underseal finish applied as agreed.

Photos help, but they can't replace an inspection
Photographs help us decide whether an inspection is worthwhile, but they can't show the full condition behind paint, underseal, filler or an outer sill. We don't weld over unsound metal. It's cut back to a suitable repair boundary first. Primer and protective finishing appropriate to the repair may be included; cosmetic colour-matched paintwork is separate unless specified in the quote.

Can you quote from photographs?
Photos help us decide whether an inspection is worthwhile, but they can't show the full condition behind paint, underseal or filler. An inspection is normally needed for a firm quote.
Do you weld over existing rusty metal?
No. Unsound material is removed back to a suitable repair boundary before anything is welded.
Will the repair guarantee an MOT pass?
No, we address the agreed corrosion, but the vehicle must still meet all applicable MOT requirements at an independent test centre.
Is paintwork included?
Primer and protective finishing appropriate to the repair may be included. Cosmetic, colour-matched refinishing is separate unless specified in the quotation.
Can you underseal after the repair?
Yes, once the repair is complete. We won't use underseal to hide unrepaired corrosion.
